The Deal:
RADVISION (NASDAQ: RVSN) announced Tuesday that it has completed its previously announced sale to Avaya pursuant to the Merger Agreement, dated as of March 14, 2012, by and among Avaya, a Delaware corporation, Sonic Acquisition Ltd., an Israeli company and a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Avaya, and RADVISION LTD.

Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) announced Monday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Buddy Media for approximately $689 million payable in cash and salesforce.com equity. The transaction is expected to be completed during Salesforce.com's fiscal third quarter ending October 31, 2012, and is subject to customary closing conditions.

The tender offer will expire at 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Friday, June 29, 2012, unless extended by CACC.

What Are the Earnings Numbers Really Telling Us?

The first quarter earning season is just starting, but we can already draw interesting conclusions based on the earnings beats and misses. Especially, the earnings of consumer electronics retailers seem to be confirming the trend that has been persistent the past couple of years.

This morning Radioshack (NYSE: RSH) posted a $0.06 loss per share versus the expectations of $0.05 profit. The stock has been hit hard and is currently down nearly 7%. Radioshack also posted lower than expected revenues of $1.01 billion, which is lower than its sales of $1.06 billion in Q1 2011.
